The Golden View Resort is located along a quiet road, approximately 200 meters from main road 3208. Suan Phueng Village is about 500 meters from the resort.
There are many hotels and resorts in the area, almost all of which are busy during the weekend, just like The Golden View Resort.

When we arrive we wonder if we are at the right hotel, it looks deserted and we see no people. There are more hotels and resorts along the street on which the resort is located and they also make a deserted impression.
We drive onto the site and we are greeted by an older woman and man, who turn out to be the managers.
We can choose from two bungalows, and the choice that determines us is the size of the bathroom.
We are also told that the restaurant is only open on weekends, but a simple breakfast is provided.

The bungalow we are staying in is quite old, but we don't notice that inside.
The room has a beautiful tiled floor, a bed that is not too hard, a refrigerator with water, space to store luggage, a flat screen TV and a seating area. There are not many electrical outlets.
There is a small terrace in front of the bungalow with a seating area.
The bathroom is spacious and equipped with a Western toilet, bath, hand shower with plenty of hot water. We don't know how the water gets warm. There are also two good towels and bottles with shower gel and shampoo.
We can park the car at the bungalow.

The resort has, from what we saw, six bungalows like the one we are staying in. There are also a number of newer stone bungalows and camping facilities.
The restaurant is only open on weekends and it is simple.
There is free WiFi, but we did not get it to work, there are a number of unsecured networks in the area.

We were here on Monday, December 18, 2023, on Tuesday, December 19, 2023 and on Wednesday, December 20, 2023.
We paid THB 1125 (approximately 30,50 Euro) per night for the bungalow, we booked in advance via Booking.com.
